What Did Your Home Inspector See? It was hot summer day and I was on a house roof at a Livermore home inspection. I did a double-take... It was definitely staring at me. I walked to the left... the eyes followed me. I walked to the right... the eyes followed me. I waved my arms, but those eyes seemed to follow my every move. It's about disclosure when buying a house. Animal Control was contacted and knocked on the neighbor's door the next day. It turned out to be taxidermy mount of a Cinnamon bear. Wikipedia: (http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cinnamon_bear). The owner had the licenses and permits. The bear was too big to display in his house and he had built the glass shed to display the trophy... Just another day in the life of a home inspector. |

I looked up to see this glass shed in the next door neighbor's backyard with what looked like a bear watching me.
