You're about to fall asleep and hear a noise above the ceiling... You're listening intently... The minutes go by... Nothing, but silence... You fall asleep. More often than you think, rodents find their way into attics and crawlspaces, usually through damaged or missing ventilation screens, under the foundation and sometimes use the open space around plumbing vent pipes as an elevator between the crawlspace and the attic. When evidence of rodents is discovered during a home inspection; I recommend further review by a licensed pest exterminator. A professional company will identify and seal all access points... Trap and remove pests... If rodent activity is severe, crawlspaces and/or attics may have to be decontaminated and sanitized. |
